North Texas heats up as global icons, BTS, are set to perform in Arlington, turning Texas purple!

 No suprise there, huh? Of course we would hit triple digits this week, as BTS is set to hit the stage at the AT&T Stadium. With the cancellation of the 'Map of The Soul' back in 2020 due to Covid-19, and with the enlistment of the members in 2022; this has been a much anticipated reunion forour Texas ARMY.     They've been taking North America by storm selling out every city since concluding the first leg of the 'BTS WORLD TOUR "ARIRANG"', setting records such as  becoming the first Korean act to peform at  King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels' to setting attendance records at Tottenham Hotspur in London. [BREAKING!] SEUNGRI leaving BIGBANG + YG Entertainment

Amidst the sex, drug, and corruption scandal SEUNGRI is going through, the legendary BIGBANG member has decided to leave his company and retire from the K-Pop industry. YG has released a statement stating that they did not know about SEUNGRI' decision to retire, and they found out through SEUNGRI's statement on social media. YG is still in talks with SEUNGRI's contract, and they have not yet terminated his contract.

SEUNGRI's statement:

This is Seungri.

At this point, I think it would be for the best if I retire from the entertainment industry. I decided on retiring from the entertainment industry due to the issues that I caused. The disturbance and issues in society are too big. Regarding the issues that are being investigated, I will accept all investigations and reveal all the suspicions.

While getting criticism and hate from the public for the past month and a half, and with all the agencies in the country currently investigating me, I am even being considered a traitor of Korea. Personally, I can't tolerate harming everyone around me to ave myself.

I would like to sincerely thank all the fans in Korea and around the world who have given me lots of love for the past 10 years. I think this is where my end [as a celebrity] will be, even if it's [to protect] the honor of YG Entertainment and BIGBANG.

Again, I am sorry and would like to apologize once again.
