North Texas heats up as global icons, BTS, are set to perform in Arlington, turning Texas purple!

 No suprise there, huh? Of course we would hit triple digits this week, as BTS is set to hit the stage at the AT&T Stadium. With the cancellation of the 'Map of The Soul' back in 2020 due to Covid-19, and with the enlistment of the members in 2022; this has been a much anticipated reunion forour Texas ARMY.     They've been taking North America by storm selling out every city since concluding the first leg of the 'BTS WORLD TOUR "ARIRANG"', setting records such as  becoming the first Korean act to peform at  King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels' to setting attendance records at Tottenham Hotspur in London. *BREAKING NEWS* SHINee 's Jonghyun passes away + SM Ent. statement / Confirmations of a possible suicide

K-Pop fans around the world are waking up to the saddest news, K-Pop idol & SHINee member Jonghyun has passed away. He was found unconscious in his apartment at 6PM KST. Emergency units rushed Jonghyun to the hospital where he was declared dead. 

SM Ent. release a statement saying:

"We're sorry to be the bearer of such tragic, heart-breaking news. 
On December 18th, 2017, SHINee's Jonghyun left us very suddenly. 
He was discovered unconscious at a resident in Chungdam-Dung, Seoul and he was rushed to a nearby hospital but was pronounced dead. 
Our sadness cannot compare to the pain of his family, who had to say goodbye to his son and a brother, but we had spent a long time with him, and SHINee members along with the SM Ent. staff are all in deep mourning and shock.
Once again, we show our deepest condolences to Jonghyun on his last journey."

Jonghyun's sister has confirmed Jonghyun committed suicide. She had called the police to warn them.

Here's the statement by the police:

"On December 18th, 2017, at 4:42PM KST Jonghyun's older sister reported to the police that her brother was about to commit suicide. We went to the residence in Chungdam and discovered he had attempted suicide with brown briquettes lit inside a frying pan.
Emergency responders were with us at the time so we rushed him to the Konkuk University Hospital in a state of cardiac arrest."

Jonghyun's sister received a texted of Jonghyun saying his last goodbye to his sister"

"It's been really hard for me until now. Please let me go, and tell me I've worked hard, last goodbye"
